In a large pot, heat oil. Saute onions for a few minutes. Add the parsnips and pears. Sauté for about 1 minute. Add broth and bring to a boil. Season to taste.
Simmer until parsnips are tender, about 30-40 minutes.
Puree and season to taste.
Tip : Use canned pears in water. The preparation will be even faster!
