Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz) Jackfruit green in brine (not in syrup!)
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) oil
  • 1 onion, julienned (150 g)
  • 1 pepper, julienned (200 g)
  • 1 pkg fajitas seasoning Old del Paso
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) water

Preparation

  • Open and drain the canned jackfruit. Rinse well. Shred every jackfruit section.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil. Add onions and peppers. Sauté for a few minutes.
  • Add jackfruits, fajitas seasoning mix and water.
  • Simmer for a few minutes until the water evaporates and the sauce thickens. Mix well.
  • Serve on low in protein tortillas.
