Ingredients
- 1 can (20 oz) Jackfruit green in brine (not in syrup!)
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) oil
- 1 onion, julienned (150 g)
- 1 pepper, julienned (200 g)
- 1 pkg fajitas seasoning Old del Paso
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) water
Preparation
- Open and drain the canned jackfruit. Rinse well. Shred every jackfruit section.
- In a large skillet, heat oil. Add onions and peppers. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add jackfruits, fajitas seasoning mix and water.
- Simmer for a few minutes until the water evaporates and the sauce thickens. Mix well.
- Serve on low in protein tortillas.
